How to Optimize a WordPress Database in phpMyAdmin

(You should make sure to back up your database before performing this procedure)

1. Log into cPanel and then click on phpMyAdmin
2. Click on the database name in the left column
3. Visually confirm that you have ‘overhead’ listed for some of the rows
4. Select all tables and then select ‘Optimize table’ from the drop down menu

Thats it!
